Antarctica is nearly twice the size of the United States. Antarctica is a high ice-covered landmass. In the Arctic the landmasses are grouped around ice-covered Arctic Ocean. The climate of the two areas is very different. Antarctica is the coldest area in the world with 30 degrees colder than the Arctic on the average.
Because of this climatic difference, the land animals and plants of the two regions are very different. On the continent of Antarctica, there are very few plants, and Arctic has a many plants. The animal in Antarctica is only penguin, but in Arctic are foxes, bears, reindeer, and lemmings.
Ice is the great feature of Antarctica. More than 4.5 million square mules of ice sheet cover the area and the icecap is very thick, averaging nearly 8000-13000 feet. If this great volume of ice were to melt, the volume of the world oceans would increase, and sea level would rise. Extreme atmospheric changes would have to take place for this happen.

Green Revolution

Green Revolution is a new approach to agriculture to doubled world food production. Green Revolution involved the large scale cultivation of a new types of grain and the extensive use of chemicals and farm machinery.

However, the Green revolution no longer appear to be successful because cannot keep up with the grow of population. The reason is due to cost, there is expensive of chemical fertilizers, chemical insecticides, and watering system. Many farmers cannot afford to buy all the chemicals and equipment. Erosion is another reason for the lower grain production.

Finally, the Green Revolution has brought about social and political conflict that has interfered with food production. The problem is only the larger landowners can afford to make the necessary investments for maximum production of new grain. This way make the larger landowner become ever richer.

Because of the Green Revolution has many disadvantages, governments and farmers need to find a new methods that will better meet the needs of the world’s hungry people and also be less destructive.

Why natural disaster continue happened around the world? The primary factor is the change of world climate. It is caused by global warming which showed the increasing of greenhouse gas rate in our atmosphere and attenuating the ozone coat. Many natural disaster happened around the world because of the uncertain climate, like floods, landslide, dryness, etc. But in fact human being causing happened all these, extravagance of energi become the root cause.

Total consumption of fossil fuel in world mount equal to 1 % each year. Steps to do or which discussing in this time nothing that can prevent global warming in future. Existing challenge in this time is to overcome arising out effect at the same time do stages or steps to prevent progressively changing climate in the future.

Hard damage can overcome variously. Coastal area can protect with barrier and wall to shuting-out sea water. The other way is, government can assist population in coast to move to higher level area.
